Purpose
• For precise coverstitches and chainstitches, due to optimal view onto the
stitching area.
• For circular and tubular seams and hems, as well as for topstitching or
appliqués.
• For decorative sewing projects.

instruction manual of your machine carefully.
Markings
A Needle Position
B Left Coverstitch Needle LC
C Center Coverstitch Needle CC
D Right Coverstitch Needle RC
E Needle window edge right, 2 mm to RC
F Needle window edge left, 2 mm to LC
Tip:
The left presser foot edge is at a distance of 6 mm (1/4") from the LC.
The right presser foot edge is at a distance of 6 mm (1/4") from the RC.
Application
Sewing along a marking or a pattern
For decorative seams, e.g. following a marked line on the fabric or a
pattern.
Guide the fabric such that the seam line runs along one of the foot
markings or the edge of the presser foot. (Fig. 2)
To sew parallel lines or pintucks, use one of the foot markings or the edge
of the presser foot as a guide.
