A SOLDIER'S QUILT 00142-Z
During the Civil War, quilting circles were formed to create soldier quilts, made specifically to fit the smaller military cots. These quilts were easily rolled and packed, and provided much needed comfort to the soldiers when far from home. Reproduction prints c. 1863-68. Quilting fabric, 100% cotton material, 44/45" wide.
