This beautiful fabric showcases the Pueblo architecture, characterized by its distinctive style, that is a prominent feature of the Southwestern states, specifically New Mexico and Arizona.  It is rooted in the traditional building techniques of the ancient Pueblo people, and is known for its thick, earth-toned adobe walls (made from mud bricks containing earth and straw), flat roofs with extended wooden beams, and rounded, asymmetrial designs.  The houses shown in this fabric are decorated with pots of various types of cacti, placed intermittently throughout the design.
