Philip Jacobs has rendered the Picotee Carnations, known for their bicolor flowers that are often described as having a "laced" or "splashed" appearance, in beautiful colors of lavender, teal, and sage, accented with charcoal and set on top of a light plum background.  The color combination works well with the contrasting values, creating a lively aesthetic that will look great in apparel, quilts, and home decor.
