Ultimate Sewing Experience II - 3 Day Retreat at the Phoenix Store

Escape the everyday with 3 blissful days of sewing, serging, embroidery and quilting. Take your skills to new levels, meet new friends and relax knowing you do not need to pack a thing. Just bring yourself.

All materials and machines will be provided.  In fact, you'll get to experience machines that are new to you! Maybe you sew, but have never quilted or you embroider, but have never serged - you'll have the chance to try out those new skills, on new machines, with guest instructors Amanda Murphy, Gail Yellen, Connie Fanders & Mary Beck.

During these 3 days, you'll learn some new skills and techniques in several classes! Some classes have a project you'll work on, others focus on learning & practicing the technique, but you'll learn something in all of them.

Want some teasers about what you'll learn?  You'll use multiple techniques while serging a table topper. Amanda will be teaching trapunto quilting for the first time, which is exciting! While she will be teaching about quilting with rulers, you'll also learn quilting in the hoop with an embroidery machine.  And let's not forget Foot Frenzy, where you'll learn techniques with a variety of feet for your domestic sewing machine.

There will be demos and lectures and time spent sewing, but there will also be giveaways!

Food is also included! Snacks and meals are all provided for you.
